This is my third time blogging about my experience at Bethel Campus Fellowship's National Conference (To read posts on BCF from years past, click here!). To be honest, it gets harder and harder to write about BCF each time. I find it difficult to adequately capture all that I saw, experienced, heard... and put it into words that won't water it down. It's tough but here we go!
BCF ... What is That?
If you haven't heard of BCF, where've you been? Lol. BCF, which stands for Bethel Campus Fellowship, is an interdenominational organization established to proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ all over college and high school campuses. With a mission of "leading students to Christ and preparing them to become reliable men and women that God can entrust with His word for the next generation," BCF has given many students a space to accept Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and continue the cycle by sharing the Gospel.

Imagine a room full of millennials – different races, ethnicities, sizes, styles bound by one thing, FIRE for JESUS – Worshipping, crying out their hearts, and leaving it all at the altar. Man... I think that's as close as to heaven as one can get while being alive.
The Power of Community
When I graduated from UGA, I shared a bit of my testimony and how BCF impacted my walk with Christ (read here). When I think of BCF and National Conference, I am reminded of the community (read: family) of believers that I am blessed with. These aren't 50 year old pastors laying hands and praying. These are students that were studying and taking exams before they left for conference. They are students that understand all too well the daily challenges and pressures of being a millennial in today's world. These are the giants in the Spirit planting seeds everywhere they go. These are Prayer Warriors, Levites (Numbers 18), and so much more.
To be honest, I have never heard of anyone attending a BCF conference and 1) not leaving radically changed and/or 2) being inspired to press deeper into their walk.
"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." 1st Timothy 4: 12
We remember our Creator in the days of our youth (Ecc 4:12) , and we wouldn't want it any other way!
For the Audience of One
All that took place at National Conference was for an audience of ONE, Jesus Christ. As I type this, I smile knowing that Jesus was pleased with the outpouring of love for Him that took on the Black Mountains of Asheville, NC. Today, I challenge all of us to live in a way that would please Jesus.
I literally want EVERYONE to experience Bethel Campus Fellowship's National Conference! If you are interested, check out their site here, http://bethelcampusfellowship.org, and let me know!
You've read enough! Catch the live conference recordings!
