Bethel Campus Fellowship's 12th annual National Conference was NOTHING short of amazing! Going up to the Black Mountains of Asheville, NC each February has easily become one of my favorite times of the year. It's a time when I look forward to seeing other millennials unashamed of the Gospel and a time when I learn useful tools to DO WORK. It literally gets better and better each year. Check out last year's recap here- BCF National Conference 2016

First things first – What in the world is BCF?

BCF, which stands for Bethel Campus Fellowship, is an interdenominational organization established to proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ all over college and high school campuses. With a mission of "leading students to Christ and preparing them to become reliable men and women that God can entrust with His word for the next generation," BCF has given many students a space to accept Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and continue the cycle by sharing the Gospel.

This year's theme was Equipping for Ministry which from taken from Ephesians 4:11-12:

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up...

Along with understanding these roles in the church, we took a look at 1 Corinthians 12 which discusses spiritual gifts. Being saved is an amazing thing but how can we leverage our God-given talents and gifts to bring God more glory? Check it out that chapter when you have time! I promise it's some good stuff.

This conference was all about learning how we as young people can 1) understand what we were called to do as Christians and as individuals and 2) use that knowledge for ministry in the Kingdom of God.

So... now what Mo?

Well, now I'm lit. I'm so hyped to continue growing in Christ because I definitely have not reached the height of a relationship with God. There's so much more to learn; so much more to experience. I have a renewed dedication to seek God even when I don't feel like. I have re-learned the concept that I was created for a purpose and will continue to wander (aimlessly, I might add) until I walk intentionally in it.

My testimony of how I went from not being able to stand BCF (yes... I said it) to absolutely loving and appreciating this organization's presence in my life is a lengthy one. I would love to share it with anyone willing to listen.

If you missed this year's conference and would like to check out the videos, follow BCF on YouTube at "BCFTube". If you believe nothing you just read OR even if you believe every single word, I'm calling you to come to BCF's next conference in 2018!
